BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya — Two students were arrested by joint personnel of Bambang Police and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU)–Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office (NVPPO) in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional Office 2 (R02) during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Dinili Purok 7, Brgy. Calaocan here on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
Arrested were Ram, a resident of Brgy. Banggot, Bambang and Marc of Sitio Punawa, Brgy. Calaocan, Bambang. Both are 17 years old.
The two were caught selling one piece of heat-sealed plastic containing shabu to a police personnel who posed as buyer around 2:30 p.m.
The authorities also found in their possession a dark brown wallet containing one piece of paper containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana with fruiting tops, disposable lighter, a coin purse color black containing one piece of paper containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana with fruiting tops.
The two students also yielded glass tube pipe with suspected marijuana residue, marked money, and three pieces of plastic sachet containing shabu.
The police also included the single motorcycle which they said is being used by the two students in delivering the illegal drugs.
The two are now in the custody of Bambang police for documentation.
Their case was coordinated to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) considering that the suspects are minors, according to The Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office.
