"That is not who I am."

Married at First Sight star Domenica Calarco has shared regret over a controversial moment on the show where she smashed a glass during an argument.

Domenica was speaking on her podcast Sit With Us when she told her co-host and MAFS co-star Ella Ding of her regret over the incident, explaining it was a way of trying to protect herself "from being hurt".

"I regret smashing the glass with every being in me. And I wish I never did it," Dom stated. "Not because of what happened afterwards, but because that is not who I am.

"When it came to going to that level of being so petty, that is when I think that triggering of a lot of my past traumas really started to come out," she continued.

"I saw that behaviour of breaking the glass as a deflection, and a coping mechanism for me to be like – stop. It wasn't the right way to do it," she added.

"I should have removed myself, I should have walked away. I'm not excusing the behaviour and I'm not blaming it on anyone, and I want to make that known."

During this self-reflection, it'll be interesting to see if Dom comments further on her feud with former season nine co-star Olivia Frazer.

The reality stars have been clashing ever since Olivia was alleged to have sourced and distributed an NSFW image of Domenica during production, effectively outing her as an OnlyFans model.

Olivia and her boyfriend Jackson have since started posting on the site, and when Dom was recently asked if she'd seen the photos, she replied: "I've seen it and I tell you what, I need bleach in my eyes. I need bleach all over me."

In turn, Olivia labelled Dom's remarks as "cruel", adding: "I was never once cruel about hers. I don't understand why she is so obsessed with me. I don't speak about her."

Neither party is alleged to have directly leaked paywalled photos of the other. Olivia says she showed "five or six" people photos that had already leaked, while Domenica maintained in her radio interview that the photos she saw were already "on the internet".
