Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker continues to evolve with Newfound Adventure, the all-new story content accompanying FFXIV patch 6.1. Here’s a breakdown of all the new content; from quests to trials, dungeons to Alliance Raids.

While Endwalker brought the current Final Fantasy XIV Online arc to a close, Square Enix aren’t quite done with their classic tale just yet.

In fact, there’s a whole slew of new content making its debut with FFXIV Endwalker patch 6.1. Aptly entitled ‘Newfound Adventure,’ our Warriors of Light are thrust into an all-new, bracing adventure-packed to bursting with exciting new questlines to explore.

Accompanied by new trials, dungeon and raid content, and, of course, a brand new series of unfortunate events, here’s everything we know about FFXIV Endwalker patch 6.1.

Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker patch 6.1 will launch on April 12, 2022.

Providing us a full breakdown of just what sort of mischief our Warrior of Light will get up to, Patch 6.1’s official trailer gives us some insight into the upcoming Alliance Raids.

As we mentioned before, the most exciting thing about patch 6.1 is a new chapter in the game’s ongoing main story quest (MSQ).

Writing “with despair silenced and hope restored, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn step back into the shadows, their star’s hero to don the mantle of simple adventurer once more. Eager heart never idle, ’tis not long before the Warrior of Light hearkens unto journey’s call…” there’s very little information about where we’ll see our heroes go next.

Images show familiar faces Tataru, Y’shtola, and Estinien, but how they fit into the next part of the story remains unclear.

Taking one of Endwalker’s familiar faces to a whole new level, players will finally get to experience The Minstrel’s Ballad: Endsinger’s Aria trial, third Extreme trial of the expansion that will offer players the opportunity to score a new mount and some new gear.

An outline of FFXIV Endwalker patch 6.1 is detailed below, with the full patch notes available via Square Enix:

Actions and traits have been adjusted as follows:

* Players can still receive the effect of Flourishing Symmetry and Flourishing Flow from the Flourish action.

Information on said dungeon remains hidden so as not to spoil the new MSQ.

Players may enter this dungeon with Trust or Duty Support NPCs.

The Minstrel’s Ballad: Endsinger’s Aria can only be accessed via the Raid Finder.

After completing the main scenario quest “Endwalker,” speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7 Y:14.2) as a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic.

The totem received upon completing this trial can be exchanged for rewards by speaking with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han (X:10.6 Y:10.0).

Parties matched automatically via the Duty Finder will comprise 1 tank, 2 healers, and 5 DPS.

You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in Aglaia. In the event you are awarded an item from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining items regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed. * Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken. * Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.

Upon completing Aglaia, players can also earn a separate reward once per week: two Cracked Anthoclusters and one Aglaia Coin. The Aglaia Coin can be exchanged with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han (X:10.6 Y:10.0) for items used to enhance equipment purchased with Allagan tomestones of astronomy.
